SSSU CORA J. WRIGHT SCHOLARSHIP
Ms. Zionia Struthers, our 2024 Scholarship Award Recipient from Zion Hill Baptist Church, is presented the scholarship award by Trustee Loretta Hill from Piney Branch Baptist Church.
Second Vice President, Reverend Stevenson Reed, Pastor of First New Hope Baptist Church addresses the congregation at Mount Hope Baptist Church.
OUR SCHOLARSHIP'S PURPOSE:

To acknowledge, encourage, and reward outstanding academic and vocational achievements of graduating High School seniors, who are affiliated with the Spotsylvania Sunday School Union (SSSU) member churches (Only students meeting these criteria may receive consideration).

Encourage and support students meeting our criteria, who work and participate in the SSSU and/or their respective Church Sunday Schools or Bible Studies.

Encourage and support students meeting our criteria, who wish to pursue college, or other post-secondary education to include technical and skilled training programs.
Our 2024 Scholarship Award Recipient,
Ms. Zionia Struthers, is from Zion Hill Baptist Church and a graduate of Riverbend High School who intends to further her education at Old Dominion University.
